7 GOING CONCERN CONCEPT
(концепция функционирующего предприятия) Принцип ведения счетов, исходящий из того, что компании являются функционирующими предприятиями, если только обстоятельства не свидетельствуют о противном. Он предполагает, что предприятие будет действовать в обозримом будущем, а значит, что в его счетах не отражается намерение или необходимость ликвидации или значительного сокращения масштабов его деятельности. В соответствии с этим подходом активы в счетах фиксируются по себестоимости или по себестоимости минус амортизация, а не по стоимости капитала, а обязательства, которые возникают только при ликвидации компании, в них не отражаются.
